E3 Pick of the Day: Dishonored
Dishonored is a game that I've posted about on this site in the past, mostly because I'm extremely excited for its release. From what I've seen, it appears to combine all of my favourite aspects of Deus Ex: Human Revolution like the wide range of powers and variation in playstyles with a fantastic looking steam punk world. Unfortunately, no matter how much money I threw at the screen during the Dishonored portion of the Gamespot Live Show, I never recieved a copy of the game. The new gameplay demos showcase two different ways to achieve your objectives - stealth and savagery. Both look like they'll be a ton of fun to play and the wide range of different possible playstyles that this video hints at as well as the power variety and slight randomization of mission objectives should provide a huge amount of replayability. I couldn't be more excited to pick up this game once it comes out in October and see if it lives up to my expectations.
