Dominion Dark Ages Card Previews

The Dark Ages expansion to the popular deck building game Dominion is just around the corner, and card previews have already started to show up online. The fantastic website DominionStrategy.com is working with the designer - Donald X. Vaccarino - to reveal three new cards from the set each and every morning! Dark Ages is a relatively large set made up of 35 new kingdom cards (as well as new bad cards called Ruins). The card previews offer more than just a sneak peek; there is also some interesting discussion about new strategies and combos. The core theme of the set is the trashing mechanic. There are new cards that yield a special benefit from trashing, like Feodum, and cards that let you interact with the trash pile, like Graverobber. The revealed art from the expansion reminds me a lot of the Innistrad Block from Magic: The Gathering. The cards are very dark, but still fit in properly with the Dominion motif. The Ruins cards are especially interesting - they're actually ruined versions of cards we've already seen in past Dominion sets (like the first one revealed - Ruined Market). Anyways, be sure to visit DominionStrategy.com every day for new card previews, and don't forget to pick up Dominion Dark Ages when it drops later this month.
